Griffy Lake has a surrounding hiking trail that spans 6 miles in a loop, with much of it facing the water. It was a Sunday afternoon in February, and the winter weather was taking a brief break. Many people took the opportunity to escape the cold and enjoy some outdoor activities. Two sycamore trees by the waterfront stood tall and sturdy. You could see how the weather had influenced their posture and shaped their character over time.
